Every story starts somewhere. This is ours.

My story began in Lagos, Nigeria.

At twelve, I moved with my mother and brothers to Brooklyn, New York. Everything felt different, the culture, the language, the way people lived and expressed themselves. But creativity was already familiar. My mother was an artist and art teacher in Nigeria, and through her, art became a place where I could feel at home again.

That experience shaped the way I see the world.

Moving between cultures taught me to notice the details people sometimes overlook the emotion in a moment, the character of a place, and the story behind what someone is building.

Over the years, that perspective grew into a passion for photography, film, and creative storytelling.

Today, it's the foundation of Shekoni Collective.

We create for the dreamers, brands, businesses, families, and visionaries building something that matters. Whether we're documenting a moment that will never happen again or helping a brand communicate what makes it different, the goal is the same:

To create more than content. To tell stories worth remembering.

Based in Houston and available worldwide, I've had the privilege of creating across cities and communities throughout the country and I'm always ready for wherever the next story takes me.
